I am a degree qualified Naturopath – I prefer to work with natural medicines and therapies where possible to improve health and wellbeing.
I also have a diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine and specialised certifications in Menopause Coaching.
I have always been interested in natural health and ways of living in harmony with nature. This interest has led me to travel to some amazing and incredible places where I have constantly been intrigued by the intuitive knowledge that other cultures have with their food, medicinal plants, lifestyles, and harmony with their surrounding environment. Our modern lifestyles are increasingly moving us further away from this to the detriment of our overall health and wellbeing.
My main interest has always been women’s health, and more recently I have become passionate about the menopause phase of life. Having been through menopause myself, I understand what a confusing and difficult time it can be. I am therefore passionate about helping women to move through this phase with support and understanding so they can enjoy their newfound freedoms in this second phase of life.
Unlike puberty and menstruation, which we are now more educated and knowledgeable about, menopause is still a bit of a taboo topic that is not discussed openly and not well understood. Thankfully this is starting to change but there is still much to understand.
MY AIM
My aim is to educate and empower women with the knowledge and skills to help them transition through this phase of life as smoothly as possible.
The relationship we have with our bodies and minds as well as food and lifestyles are all important to help us manage this phase in the best way possible.
Having a healthy and positive attitude to nutrition, exercise and mental and emotional wellbeing is important as we navigate our way through this transition
